Step 1 Free Site Survey

The installer checks your roof area, shading, structure, cable routes, earthing and existing electrical setup, and reviews your electricity bill and backup needs. On a Pakistani roof this means specifics: is it an RCC lenter that takes a standard frame, or a sheet roof needing rails? Do the neighbour’s water tank or an overhead line shade the south face after 2pm? Is the connection single-phase or three-phase, and what is the sanctioned load because that caps what your DISCO will approve for net metering. A good surveyor also measures the cable run from roof to inverter location and inspects the distribution board, since both affect cost and safety. Treat the survey as your first quality filter: an installer who quotes from a phone call without visiting is guessing with your money.

Step 2 System Sizing
